Ahhh Spring is here! I am ready for the sun and with the sun brings lighter and less clothing a.k.a. shorts and tank tops. I know that the clock is ticking and it is time to shed my winter coat. For most of us the holidays brings with it a little thicker insulation, also known as fat, and the New Years Resolutions may not have quite kicked in yet. With Summer around the corner I have a small step to get you started on your program to fit into your favorite warm weather wear.

Please read on for an easy way to give your body a spring break and shed some of your insulation in the process. And depending on your health and weight goals you can implement the spring break more frequently.

Spot Light ~ Spring to Bikini Body
Spring is a time known for spring cleaning. When you apply the concept to your body that would lead you to your colon. With Summer just 3 months away, there is no time to waste ;-) To start the spring cleaning, allow me to take you on an easy to implement process to lighten your body and spirits. Let's start with your digestion. By giving your digestion a break, like a spring break... you will start the process of creating your bikini body. I have a little extra insulation myself and plan on following my own advise. So here goes...
6 Reasons to give your Digestion a Spring Break:
1) Save Money - eating fruits and vegetables. Pound for pound will save you money.

2) More Energy - it takes your body the least amount of energy to digest raw uncooked fruits and vegetables. In turn you will experience more energy.
3) Save Time - preparing a live, uncooked meal of fruit or vegetables takes less time than cooking.
4) Fuel your Body - when you eat live food the enzymes breakdown your food in a usable manner so your body doesn't have to rob or steal nutrients from your organs, bones, etc. You get the fuel from the food instead of your bodies reserves.

5) Reduce your risk of Disease - when eating live, uncooked food you are increasing your antioxidants therefore reducing your free radicals that can lead to disease. Disease cannot live in an alkaline body.
6) You LOOK better - by eating and drinking on the alkaline pH side, your eyes will be brighter, hair - skin - nails healthier and your body will be lighter & tighter in the process.
